Position Summary

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences within the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (https://www.acphs.edu/ ) invites applications for full-time [9.5 month] tenure track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Although all areas of expertise in pharmaceutical sciences will be considered, preference will be given to those in drug delivery/nanotechnology, regulatory science, protein therapeutics, medicinal chemistry and molecular toxicology.

Qualified candidates should possess a Ph.D. degree with demonstrated excellence in research, as well as the potential to be an excellent teacher and mentor. ACPHS is a private college located in Albany – a cornerstone of the Capital Region of New York state – within a dynamic educational and medical campus environment. There are numerous research capabilities both within and outside the College, including the Albany Medical College, Wadsworth Center, University at Albany, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the Pharmaceutical Research Institute (part of ACPHS), and our satellite campus in Vermont that offer high quality core labs. New faculty members will be provided their own research lab and a competitive start-up package.
