Position Summary

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) offers an array of degree programs designed to help students succeed in pharmacy and health related fields. The Enrollment Management division is seeking a results-oriented and entrepreneurial Counselor or Assistant Director of Financial Aid. Interested candidates must value higher education and enjoy working in a career that positively impacts student lives.

The Financial Aid Counselor or Assistant Director of Financial Aid will work with students from prospect through commencement. S/he will be manage student aid processing for a caseload of undergraduate, graduate and professional students at the College’s NY and VT campuses; assist with administration of the College’s financial aid programs; create and submit reports; deliver financial aid presentations and provide superior service to students, parents, and College stakeholders. S/he will build relationships with prospective students, families, and ACPHS community members by actively conducting outreach to achieve enrollment goals. S/he will stay abreast of evolving best practices related to federal, state and institutional student aid programs.

Required Qualifications

Title and salary will be commensurate with level of experience and education. Bachelor’s degree required and one to three years’ experience in a college financial aid office or banking are preferred. Experience with PowerFaids is a plus.
