Position Summary

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences invites applications for the part-time position of Teaching Assistant (TA) in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. This part-time appointment is approximately 60 hours biweekly. The TA will support faculty in the School by providing assistance with grading of exercises and examinations, as well as supporting other teaching and learning activities. This position will require periodic meetings at the School with faculty members. Grading activities may be accomplished off-campus.

Required Qualifications

A Doctor of Pharmacy degree is required.
Qualified candidates will have a demonstrated capacity to multi-task and meet deadlines. Ability to work with learning software as well as knowledge/skills in Excel is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a teaching capacity is desirable.
